About the Role

Our client, a premier medical aesthetics clinic in the affluent suburb of Sandton , Gauteng, is seeking an experienced Senior Aesthetic Doctor and Medical Aesthetics Specialist. This senior role requires a physician with a deep understanding of dermatology, anti-aging treatments, and non-surgical cosmetic procedures. You will be responsible for leading a team of practitioners, developing advanced treatment protocols, and providing high-level patient consultations and treatments. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive range of medical aesthetic treatments, including injectables (Botox, fillers), laser therapies, chemical peels, and advanced skin rejuvenation procedures.
• Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to assess their aesthetic goals and medical history, developing personalized treatment plans.
• Administer treatments with precision, adhering to the highest standards of safety and efficacy.
• Lead and mentor a team of nurses, aestheticians, and other medical practitioners, ensuring quality and consistency of care.
• Develop and implement advanced treatment protocols and stay abreast of emerging technologies and techniques in medical aesthetics.
• Manage patient follow-up care and monitor treatment outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant medical regulations, ethical guidelines, and clinic policies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records.
• Contribute to the clinic's business development and marketing efforts, potentially including content creation and public relations.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBCh or equivalent) with a valid practicing license from the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
• Specialization or significant postgraduate training/experience in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, or Medical Aesthetics.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in performing medical aesthetic procedures, with a strong portfolio.
• Extensive experience with injectables, laser devices, and other advanced aesthetic technologies.
• Exceptional diagnostic skills and a strong understanding of facial anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Aesthetic judgment and a natural ability to create harmonious and natural-looking results.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage complex patient cases.
