Role Description

This is a full-time outside sales representative position calling on Optometrists based out of Fort Lauderdale and covering all of south Florida up to Daytona Beach. The Sales Specialist will focus on building and maintaining relationships with optometric business partners, promoting MacuHealth’s products, and driving revenue growth. Daily responsibilities include calling on potential business partners, responding to inquiries, delivering product presentations to optometry practices, and meeting sales goals. The role requires roughly 30% overnight travel, with all T&E reimbursed.

The position offers a compensation plan of $150,000 + (Base + Commissions (no cap), plus quarterly and yearly bonuses), full medical, vision and dental benefits and a generously matched 401k.

Qualifications

• 2 years+ Outside sales experience
• Strong sales and business development skills, with the ability to create and maintain customer relationships, meet sales targets, and drive revenue growth.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively deliver product information and engage with clients.
• Proficiency with CRM software, sales technologies, and data analysis tools to manage client accounts and track performance.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working in a hybrid work environment that requires adaptability and initiative.
• Experience in optical sales, the nutritional supplement, aesthetics, pharma, medical device, healthcare industry is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Nutrition or health sciences, or a related field is a plus.
