IFRS 17 Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting and financial reporting function
• Lead the IFRS 17 reporting process and ensure ongoing compliance
• Research, analyse, and implement complex accounting treatments
• Resolve technical accounting and reporting issues
• Support statutory, financial, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Partner with finance, actuarial, and operational teams
• Drive reporting efficiencies and process improvements
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support to stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified CA(SA)

Skills and Experience

• Strong working knowledge and practical experience with IFRS 17
• Previous experience within the insurance or reinsurance industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong technical accounting and reporting expertise
