Our client is a multinational automotive business offering the opportunity to work within a highly technical, internationally connected finance environment. As Chief Accountant, youll be the technical backbone of the finance function, supporting the Financial Accountant and working closely with management on complex accounting matters.
Key Responsibilities- Own technical accounting, IFRS and complex financial reporting matters
- Support the Financial Accountant with high-level accounting and reporting requirements
- Drive month-end, year-end and group reporting processes
- Strengthen financial controls, reconciliations and compliance
Job Experience and Skills Required- CA(SA)
- 45 years post-qualification experience
- Big 4 articles essential
- Strong technical accounting and IFRS exposure
- Automotive experience advantageous
- Multinational / group exposure highly advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Advanced Excel and strong financial systems capability
