A reputable company based in Centurion is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team. This position is ideal for an individual who has completed SAIPA or SAICA articles and is eager to build on their post-article experience within a progressive organization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Perform monthly reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Prepare journals and review accounting transactions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Process and reconcile bank accounts
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Support audit requirements and statutory submissions
- Provide financial insights and administrative support to management
Qualifications & Skills:- BCom
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
- 2+ years post-article accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
