Senior Accountant

In the context of Renvolt’s establishment as a standalone entity following the carve-out from Voltalia, the Senior Accountant ensures the production of accurate financial information for Renvolt Portuguese entity. This includes accounting entries, monthly/quarterly/annual closings, VAT and tax returns, IFRS reporting via OneStream, and maintaining general ledger integrity. Reports to the Finance Manager Portugal & Ireland.

The Senior Accountant will have the following responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with Portuguese GAAP (SNC) and IFRS.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Control intercompany flows and perform monthly ICP validation and reconciliation.
• Process income statement and balance sheet in OneStream, including IFRS homogenisation journals.
