Tiger is seeking a proactive and hands-on finance professional to join a leading finance firm at its newly established Lisbon hub. You will play a key role in building the finance function, supporting the set-up of new systems and processes. What you’ll Do
- Work closely with the Senior Manager to build and develop the in-house finance function in Lisbon
- Support the transition of the finance function from outsourced accountants, putting in place the right structure, systems and processes
- Take responsibility for the financial control of group entities, including month-end reporting, quarterly Board reporting and MI
- Contribute to year-end financial statements and the audit process
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting, regulatory returns and tax returns
- Identify gaps in controls and drive improvements across processes and systems
- Drive positive change within the team, supporting managers in delivering day-to-day responsibilities
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 3+ years’ relevant experience (5+ years for Senior Associate level);
- Experienced in reporting under IFRS or US GAAP (preferred)
- Strong systems skills, including financial modelling and ERP knowledge
- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
- Highly organised and able to manage a wide range of responsibilities
