YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE

Mérieux NutriSciences is looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team at the Ormonde, Johannesburg branch. This role is responsible for providing technical support across the business, ensuring the effective operation of hardware, software, networks, and laboratory-related systems within GxP environment.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot technical issues, support users, maintain IT infrastructure, and assist with technology projects to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency.

YOUR PROFILE

Qualifications & Requirements

• Advantageous: MCSA certification.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in IT support or systems support preferably within a pharmaceutical, laboratory, manufacturing, or healthcare (GxP/ISO) environment.
• Experience with desktop/laptop support, Microsoft operating systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of server support, Active Directory, networking, AWS, Hyper-V, and Google Enterprise.
• Laboratory systems or equipment support experience will be advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive, reliable, and committed to continuous improvement.
