This role handles application of IFRS 16 accounting principle to more than 2,700 locations resulting in a balance sheet impact of over $1B. As a result it is highly visible and requires a specific skillset that we have thus far not been able to find FT in the market despite searching (via Talent Acquisition) for 6 months. While we have been able to use internal resources in that time, with other projects and the regular responsibilities the associate currently handling the responsibilities is at risk of burnout, so we are needing a temporary solution to alleviate the bandwidth issues until a FT solution is found. We simply cannot afford to continue asking associates to work the amount of hours required to cover this desk.
