Key Responsibilities- Provide first-line technical and application support to local and international customers.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software-related incidents and service requests.
- Escalate complex issues to relevant technical teams when required.
- Deliver support services in accordance with agreed service levels and quality standards.
- Support business-critical supply chain and operational software solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and resolutions.
- Participate in a rotating 24/7 shift roster.
- Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Work effectively in a remote team environment while maintaining high service standards.
Requirements- Previous experience in an IT Helpdesk, Service Desk, Technical Support, or Customer Support role.
- Experience troubleshooting software applications and resolving user issues.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote-working environment.
- Reliable internet connectivity and a suitable home-office setup.
- Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Advantageous ExperienceCandidates with any of the following will have a distinct advantage:
- Exposure to terminal automation systems or specialised industry software.
- Experience within the Oil & Gas, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Industrial sectors.
- Microsoft SQL knowledge or experience.
- SAP Logistics exposure.
- Application support experience in operational or supply chain environments.
